Iggys - Meet and Greets? Anybody?

Hi,

New member here- "Long time listener, first time caller!".....

Anyway... we were at Dewey a couple years ago, with my bestest buddy, Sherlock The Brave and Zippy, our little Iggy. He's 13 lbs of play and love. We went down because we knew that it would be an awesome sight to see all the big GHs around town, and we could have some Grotto pizza with our buddy.... and of course, we HAD TO get the rain coats and winter coats for him.

Well, we are coming back for Sat. and Sun. nights- he's outgrown his raincoat, so it was a perfect excuse to take a little vacation.

I realize that the main focus is on his "big brothers", but we did see a few Iggys last year. I was amazed at how he reacted to his fellow Iggys. With the GHs, he would "touch nose", and be very gentle, kinda submissive. I was careful to not let him get too close to any nervous GHs.

With the Iggys, it was DEFINITELY a different story! He went all "waggly-tail" and seemed to really be connecting- I guess he felt happier with the smaller guys around!

So, if anybody is going to be around Sat. or Sun. night, let us know- my wife and I will be staying at the Atlantis in Rehoboth. It would be fun to meet somewhere- boardwalk, outside a landmark, etc., to let the little ones check each other out! Doesn't have to be anything major- last time we were just walking along on a main avenue and our daughter pointed out two Iggys, so we stopped to chat with the owner. Lotsa fun watching the interactions!

See ya!

HI Patrick and family, Glad

HI Patrick and family, Glad to hear you're coming to the Dew again. My family is coming with our big guy, Hal and our two Iggys--Charlie and Luna. You'll know Charlie..he's big for an IG, red and white and a perpetual tail. As a matter of fact, his whole butt wags. This will be Bella Luna's first Dewey, but we know she'll love it. We always keep an eye out for other little guys to have a "wag" with. We're in Rehoboth a lot, especially by the Firehouse and vendors. We'll keep an eye out for you all and you do the same.

Sallianne and Pups

Sounds good! Maybe the guys

Sounds good! Maybe the guys will "bump" into each other! Sherlock is a bit large for an Iggy (our vet said most are about 10 lbs and he's a hair over 13 lbs). He's all white, with a nice brown patch over his left eye and side of face. All long legs and yes, he does burn a lot of calories with all that tail-wagging!

Hope to see you there!

Patrick and Sherlock
