This year as part of the Dewey Beach Schedule and Vendor Directory I've created a web site for attendees.  This web site will not only have information on how to get a copy of the directory, it will also contain a complete list of Events, Seminars and Vendors that will be part of the 2010 directory. The Schedule and Vendor pages will also contain locations, times and descriptions.  The target date for the schedule and vendor information to be posted is September 1st.  If you'd like you can sign up on my e-mail list so that you will receive a newsletter when that information becomes available (this information is on the web site as well).

It's time to start getting ready for Dewey 2010 and Gawn 2 the Dawgs Custom Graphics, LLC., is pleased to be designing, producing and distributing the Dewey Beach Directory for the fourth year in a row. I hope this letter along with the information files will answer any questions you may have about the 2010 Dewey Beach Directory. If you enjoyed the low key approach to  Greyhounds Reach the Beach last year: the quiet times with your hounds, the long slow walks, and easygoing atmosphere, you're in for a treat again in 2010. The event, because of the changes in the town, and lack of availability of large venues, is going to stay, for the foreseeable future, a self guided, and largely unstructured one. Vendors will come, and again, do their own thing,  and there will be small events, organized by any groups who wish to do so. It will be a relaxing weekend, with your hounds.

Over the years "Greyhounds Reach the Beach" has grown, and morphed into something that the organizers never imagined was possible. In 1995 it was a carefree weekend at the beach for a few friends and their dogs: -- somehow 85 people and their 65 hounds showed up and the event has gathered steam every year since.
